Hortense Bissila, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practioner with 15 years of experience in mental health. My experience as a psychiatric RN enables me to ease into my role as a psychiatric NP. I have inpatient and outpatient experience. My services are all-inclusive to children, adolescents, and adults.
My accessibility during odd hours create a difference with others. My understanding of mental health as any other medical condition make my interaction with my clients natural. I work in team with my clients to put together a treatment plan of action. Sometimes using medication therapy enable one to go over a hump in a difficult time. However therapy could provide tools to improve situations and regain stability. I will use my experience, my background , my knowledge of psychopharmacology to suggest a medication therapy. Each individual comes with unique qualities and challenges, while teaming with you I will always strive to provide a holistic centered treatment plan. My motto is ''Start low and go higher if necessary, then monitor the progress in an open minded way.''

Josephine Nandzo, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in mental health. It is my firm belief that nursing care should be holistic but at the same time make room for the culture and values of all patients. I have both inpatient and outpatient experience as well as experience of caring for Veterans. My services are across lifespan.
As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-informed mental health care. I recognize that each person’s well-being is shaped by biological, emotional, social, cultural, spiritual, and environmental influences. My practice is built on empathy, respect, cultural humility, trust, and shared decision-making.
I view patients as active partners and experts in their own lived experiences. I strive to listen without judgment, provide clear education, respect autonomy, and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s goals, values, and needs. Through comprehensive assessment, appropriate medication management, psychoeducation, supportive interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, I aim to promote holistic recovery rather than symptom reduction alone.
I am dedicated to trauma-informed, inclusive, and equitable care that recognizes the effects of trauma, stigma, discrimination, and social barriers on mental health. Guided by ethical practice, confidentiality, lifelong learning, and self-reflection, I advocate for accessible, high-quality services that strengthen patients’ resilience, dignity, daily functioning, and overall quality of life
